The following locations will also be considered: Tampa, FL, Charlotte, NC, Chantilly, VA, or another major WSP office. Your Impact

• Manage the negotiation, award, and administration large-value subcontracts with various commercial models comprising fixed price, cost-reimbursable, and other contract mechanisms to satisfy company needs, client requirements, and assure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.
• Manage the supply chain process, including material and equipment buyout planning and scheduling, supplier identification and vetting, solicitation, evaluation, award, staging, packing, labeling, documentation and insurance, shipping, logistics and freight forwarding, export /import documentation and clearance, expediting, supplier quality surveillance delivery to/receipt on job site and on-site material management
• Proactively coordinate supply chain activities within the broader framework of a large-scale project, interacting with the integrated team members including Estimating, Project Delivery, Commercial, Legal, and Project Controls and external suppliers and vendors groups to support seamless and effective execution and resolve complex contractual issues
• Review and provide recommendations so that the organization mitigates risk and performs to meet its contractual obligations and reduces financial impacts
• Maintain WSP USA procurement and subcontracting policies, procedures, and guidelines with special emphasis on maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards
• Participate with responsible parties to ensure that all claims for and against suppliers or subcontractors are settled amicably and without delay
• Manage and monitors profiles of supply market and key suppliers (includes both current and potential suppliers)
• Reports to the Vice President - Procurement

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or Engineering preferred
• 7 - 10 years Supply Chain management experience in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Industry
• Proven experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other Federal, State, and local laws and regulations
• Experience with large complex Federal and non-Federal procurements/sub-contracts
• Solid understanding of domestic and international purchasing and subcontracting and remediation/construction industry
• Full knowledge and experience in the means, processes and methods needed to successfully implement a supply chain program for a large-scale project.
• Familiar with methods of shipping, freight forwarders, carriers, and shipping lines
• Knowledge of price levels, competitive forces, and legislative rulings that affect the business
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to prepare and make presentations to project and external groups and stakeholders
• Excellent computer literacy skills and skills in MS Office 365, and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Exceptional negotiation skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment, juggle multiple assignments and deliver in a targeted timeframe and budget
• Must pass background check
